Chemical Name:

Character:

melting point is 213℃(decompose), vapor tension 3×10 mmHg at 25℃, its solubility 20ppm in warter at 23℃, 50℅ in dimethylformamide, 2.1℅ in chclohexanone, 0.8℅ in acetone.

Stable at: 23℃ and PH5-9.At the tempreture of 60, 90, 120, it can store more than30 days.

Toxicity: according to the fertilizer grading rules of our country, thiduazuron TDZ is a low toxicity plant growth regulator.

Technical grade: acute oral LD﹥400mg/kg, acute dermal LD﹥100mg/kg, acute inhalant LD﹥2.3mg/L. it has light stimulus to rabbit'eyes and no stimulus to skin. No effect dosage of rat vice acute oral is 60mg/kg/day and no effect dose of vice acute dermal is 25mg/kg/day. The experiment of rat two years chroncity dermal is normal under the dose of 500ppm. No monstrosity, mutation and oncogenic effects under experimental condition.

Effect and characteristics:

Thidiazuron is good effect plant growth regulator use on cotton as defoliant .It can stimulate formulation of an abscission layer between the plant stem and the leaf petioles.

2. It can cause the dropping of entire green leaves.

3. When Used for dropping leaves of cotton , in order to facilitate harvesting; applied at 0.21kg/ha per season.
