1. Auxin and gibberellin auxin (IAA) and gibberellin (GA) promote growth with mutual synergistic effect. Spraying a variety of plants with appropriate concentration of GA and IAA can promote the growth of stem. If spraying IAA alone, the effect is lower than GA. The mixture of the two was prepared and the application effect was better. Auxin and gibberellin showed antagonistic relationship in gender differentiation of cucumber. The antagonism between GA and IAA was mainly manifested in controlling the sex of flowers. IAA promoted the differentiation of female flowers in cucumber, while GA3 promoted the differentiation of male flowers. For example, IAA treated yellow melon seedlings were treated with GA, and the effect of growth cord could be offset, and vice versa.
2. The synergistic effect between auxin and cytokinin auxin (IAA) and cytokinin (cTK) is manifested in the presence of both cTK and IAA, and the duration of cTK action can be prolonged. CTK can strengthen the polar transport of IAA, which is beneficial to enhance the function of IAA. The antagonistic effects of autin and cytokinin showed that CTK promoted the development of lateral buds of dicotyledonous plants, while IAA inhibited the development of lateral buds. In the control of apical dominance, a high RATIO of cTK/IAA is conducive to lateral bud development, and a low ratio of cTK/IAA is conducive to the maintenance of apical dominance. However, kinetin, zein and benzylidene could inhibit auxin promotion.
3. The promotion effect of auxin and ethylene growth cable (IAA) on ethylene (Acc) is shown in promoting the activity of Acc synthase, thus promoting the synthesis of Acc, so high concentration of IAA inhibits the growth. The effects of ethylene on auxin include inhibition of growth cable polar transport, inhibition of auxin biosynthesis, and promotion of auxin oxidase activity.
4. Antagonism of gibberellin and abscisic acid gibberellin (GA) and abscisic acid (ABA) is shown to break bud or seed dormancy, while ABA promotes dormancy. The synthetic precursors were the same, but the conditions were different.
